I have added an App and got a red exclamation mark, what does it mean?

If you have added an App and the red exclamation mark appeared as in the image below:

it simply means that there was a mistake in one of the details you’ve entered. Click “edit” and make sure that you inserted the user name in the correct form.

A common reason is adding the entire URL (bad: http://twitter.com/wisestamp/) rather than only the user name (good: wisestamp)

How can I remove an App?

In the App menu simply click “delete” to remove the App. You can also click “disable” and the App will not appear in your emails but you can enable it again with a single click.

I have added an App but it doesn’t show in my emails.

If the rest of your WiseStamp appears and only the App doesn’t appear, the site the App relates to (twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon etc.) might be down or you might have entered a wrong user name. Double check your user name and if it is correct simply wait a couple of minutes until the remote site is back on.

If WiseStamp doesn’t insert at all, please refer to our FAQ section.
