Where CodeTwo ends and WiseStamp begins.

YOUR LIFE WITH CODETWO

  • Admin Panel built around Exchange rules, Azure AD configurations, and tenant management logic.
  • Interface speaks a language built for IT professionals, not brand managers.
  • Friction starts when Marketing needs to own it.
  • Getting a banner live means understanding Microsoft’s logic and stack or going back to IT to code it in HTML.

CodeTwo forces IT dependence by design, creating a persistent bottleneck whenever Marketing needs to own the channel.

“CodeTwo’s platform doesn’t work exactly as intended. It’s so complicated that updates fell on me, even though it’s not my role at all. It gets very annoying.”

Verified buyer interview, 2026

  • Designed for IT simplicity, setup is a one-time directory connection.
  • Marketing gets a drag-and-drop editor, campaign scheduling, targeting, and analytics, managed independently.
  • No Exchange knowledge required and no manual needed.
  • Works natively across Google and M365.

Day-to-day updates are owned completely by Marketing, allowing them to publish changes instantly while IT never has to touch it again.

“As an IT administrator, this has significantly streamlined our workflow, managing all email users across multiple domains and platforms from one account.”

Verified buyer, G2, 2025

Marketing could use CodeTwo on their own, but they’d need a degree

“Marketing teams can manage signatures through delegated access, making it a solution for both IT and Marketing.”

CodeTwo product positioning

“The interface is quite complex. Feels like you need a degree to handle it.”

Verified buyer, WiseStamp B2B Buyer Call Reports, 2025

“Marketing could use CodeTwo on their own, but they’d need a degree”

CodeTwo product documentation

“Very hard to understand the user guide if you aren’t an IT professional. The language throughout assumes a level of technical knowledge that non-IT admins don’t have.”

Get important questions out of the way

WiseStamp natively supports both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including server-side deployment on each platform. CodeTwo Email Signatures 365 is limited to Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online only. Any organization with Gmail users, or a Microsoft-to-Google migration in progress, cannot use CodeTwo.

In WiseStamp, yes. IT connects the directory once via SCIM. After that, campaign banners, audience targeting, scheduling, and analytics are owned by marketing with no IT involvement. In CodeTwo, marketing receives delegated access to an admin panel designed for IT administrators. The interface and documentation assume technical familiarity.

WiseStamp connects to your directory via SCIM and enforces signatures server-side, so users cannot bypass them. After initial setup, IT defines what can and cannot be changed. Marketing and employees operate within those rules independently, reducing the IT ticket queue without removing IT governance.

WiseStamp supports all major email environments:

  • Google Workspace (Gmail)
  • Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online
  • Outlook desktop client
  • Apple Mail

Server-side deployment is available for both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 on Advanced and Enterprise plans.

WiseStamp includes a native analytics dashboard with click tracking, campaign performance, and attribution data. CodeTwo routes all performance measurement through Google Analytics via UTM parameters, requiring a separate tool setup and GA familiarity. WiseStamp shows campaign results directly in the product without additional configuration.

The switch is triggered by growth, not failure. According to WiseStamp B2B Buyer Call Reports (2025), the 3 most common triggers are:

  • Marketing needs self-serve campaign capability beyond what IT delegation supports
  • The organization adds Google Workspace users to a Microsoft 365 environment
  • Enterprise procurement requires SAML SSO or an exportable audit log for compliance

WiseStamp supports Microsoft 365 including server-side signatures, but does not hold Microsoft 365 Certification. CodeTwo is the only email signature management tool with this credential, validated by Microsoft for its Exchange Online connector, Entra ID sync, and OAuth 2.0 implementation. For organizations on Google Workspace or both platforms, WiseStamp is the only option.

Yes. WiseStamp supports server-side signature enforcement for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace on Advanced and Enterprise plans. Signatures are applied at the processing layer before email is sent, regardless of which email client the employee uses. Employees cannot override or remove server-side signatures.

Yes, through WiseStamp’s Employee Hub. Employees can update their photo, job title, and pronouns within guardrails set by marketing and IT. Approved fields are editable. Core brand elements and company-wide content remain locked. This reduces IT ticket volume without compromising brand consistency.

Most CodeTwo-to-WiseStamp migrations take under 1 week of elapsed time and under 4 hours of IT effort:

  1. Directory sync handles the user list automatically via SCIM
  2. Signature templates are rebuilt in WiseStamp’s AI-powered Signature Studio
  3. Most teams use migration as an opportunity to consolidate signature variants that have accumulated over time
