Problem: when users opted to delete their accounts, our system automatically initiated a refund process. 

Solution: to tackle the issue of automatic refunds and streamline the account deletion process, we’ve made strategic changes:

  • Repositioned the Delete Account button: button moved to the profile panel. 
  • Streamlined Delete Account Process: We’ve unified the steps for all SOLO accounts improve management and simplify the overall process. The process has three steps: 
    • Why do you want to delete your account. 
    • Confirm account deletion. 
    • Confirmation screen. 
  • Separated Refund from account Deletion: Deleting the account stops auto-renewal (if account is on a paid plan). For refunds, users must contact us. 

Note: accounts with team plan can NOT delete their plan. They need to contact support to do that.
