We love trying out new tools, especially ones that help us to blitz our productivity and ramp up our marketing efforts. These are the new tools that have caught our attention in the last couple of months, and we feel that they have made a noticeable difference to our productivity. If you’ve found other great tools, we’d love to hear from you.
Goodbye task lists in complicated Google Docs, hello smooth notice-board style task management. Trello looks beautiful, and is super-functional, including deadlines and labels, but without too many other features to complicate things. We use Trello for team tasks and time management, and it has already saved us valuable team-work time.
Yeah, maybe we’re a little behind the times here, but having finally moved to Slack for team communication we can see what all the fuss is about. Like most communication tools, Slack has a learning curve, but once we’d gotten our heads around it, is has quickly become an integral part of WiseStamp internal communication.
Like any startup, WiseStamp regularly blitzes through crazy amounts of tasks in any given day, and any given week, but unlike many startups who are all crammed together in one room, our team is split between two offices in different cities, and also has team members who work from home. The simplicity of I done this means that we are all on the same page at the end of the day.
From Sujan Patel and Colin Matthews, ContentMarketer IO is a super-helpful marketing productivity tool that pulls the data that you need from online content. It extracts data like twitter handles, job titles and contact information, making content research a cinch, and literally saving your marketing department hours of manual work when it comes to blogger outreach. It will be officially launching in July, but you can try it out for size now.
It can be hard to cut through all the clutter when looking for quality content to share. That’s why we love This, a content bookmarking site that allows each member to share just one thing each day, ensuring that everyone shares only the best content.
